Utah/Idaho: Day 4

We woke up Sunday morning, packed our bags, got ready in a flurry and made it to Sacrament meeting before continuing on to Idaho. That morning was exhausting. The kids were extra "busy" at church by myself. However, I was glad we made it. On our way out of town, we visited the grounds of the Brigham City Temple.

After our visit to the temple, we started the next leg of our journey to Idaho. When we made it to Boise, the party was already in full swing. Bryan's brothers, Scott and Rick, and their families were also staying at Steve and Carrie's house. Another brother, Greg, lives in Boise and drove over each day to join in the fun. It was fun to watch my kids interact with their cousins.

Next up, the "kids" (and Uncles) had a water fight.

Emma was a little timid about the water fight...

so she and Grandma Nielson picked fresh blackberries from the garden to go with homemade ice cream later that night.

This is what Myles thought about nap time…too much partying to be done.

Instead, he hung out with me and downed lots of cookies.

The cousins worked together to make homemade ice cream. A must-do activity in the summer time.

Carrie, completed the evening with a scavenger hunt for the kids. 

It was a fun-filled afternoon and night.
