County Parade

Bryan made it home from High Adventure with the young men in our ward the same day we returned home from our trip to Utah and Idaho. We were all happy to see each other. Myles was exceptionally happy to see his dad again. Loved seeing that excitement.
The next day, we went to our county parade. This parade is amazing. Last year, my friend, Whitney, told us about the spot they liked to sit at for the parade. It's right at the beginning. Lots of candy and loot being tossed out. The kids scored water bottles, enough candy to rival Halloween trick-or-treating and free kids' meals from Chick-Fil-A. We lost energy and motivation to hit the carnival and fairgrounds afterwards. We'll save that for next year.
