Last year, Bryan and I went on an organized bike ride down in Moab with some friends and family. We had such a great time that we decided to go back this year. Bryan stepped up his game and chose to go on the route entitled "The Big Nasty." The title alone was enough for me to chose a different route. A couple of friends, Sarah and Heidi, were able to come and we opted to take the "Rolling Hills" route, much more inviting. I had such a great time biking with these gals---
My good buddies, Heidi and Sarah, on our ride that was around 75 miles. It look us about 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete.
Here I am displaying an infamous part of road biking...the spandex. Gotta love it! After just a few minutes on that seat, I promise that the shorts with the padding are worth it.
"The Big Nasty" lived up to it's title. Those that chose this route, climbed over 3,000 feet in just 6 or 7 miles! Bryan did great and informed me that, "No one passed me, I wouldn't let them." That's my man!
Congratulating Bryan on completing his monster hill climb.
