The next day, we hung around the cabin playing games, crafting, swimming, making over 100 snow cones and heading to friend's family's ranch for dinner and fishing.
Sadly, in the afternoon Luke's foot was smashed by a boulder as he was trying to climb out of the embankment by the reservoir. It was pinned so bad that Luke was stuck until Bryan could roll the boulder off of him. I took him to the urgent care in Rexburg to make sure nothing was broken. The doctor, nurse and I were all pleasantly surprised when the x-ray was negative. Luke was a little disappointed because he really wanted "the boot" to walk around in. We missed the dinner and fishing, but made up for it with a stop at the "Frostop" and a ride on the razor. Poor kid limped for over a week after this injury.
