Nielson Reunion Day 3

We ventured out to Big Springs where we looked for the big fish (no luck) and visited Johnny Sack's cabin. Part of me (The Little House on the Prairie part) would love to live in a cozy cabin like that and have things simple, the other part (the realistic part) is I LOVE the convenience of turning my furnace on when it's cold outside and the AC when it's hot.

We 4-wheeled, fished, and played games around the cabin in the afternoon. During the evening the "Rock Skipping Competition" was held. Steve and Carrie brought rocks home from their Alaska trip specifically with this purpose in mind. There were 2 rounds: One for the little kids and one for the big kids (the brothers). Emma took some coaxing to participate, but ended up winning with three skips. She beat her brother who had 2 skips, much to Luke's dismay. Bryan won amongst the brothers and everyone had some pretty good belly laughs during all of it.
