This girl and the beach! I loved how more and more freckles appeared on her face.
Our success in finding the church was largely due to the fact that Bryan and Devin both speak Spanish. On our way to church, our taxi driver became very annoyed with two young men in suits walking down the middle of the road. As our driver laid on the horn, the two young men turned and we could see their distinct black name tags. We didn't dare say, "Follow them." :) We made it to the church, enjoyed meeting the members and the stake president that was maybe 30-years-old. When they started to pass the sacrament, Luke said, "Wait a minute! We do the same thing at our church!" It made me smile and provided a great teaching opportunity to explain why it is the same no matter where in the world we attend church.

We enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon and then headed into downtown Puerto Vallarta to explore the Malacon and grab a bite to eat.
Myles was partied out this night, but we still made it work...pass the Diet Coke. One for me and one for Myles.
They had a street parade and performers we could watch from the restaurant. There is a performer swinging on the rope. The kids loved watching this.
The kids each picked out a souvenir. Emma found a fan and Luke surprised all of us when he picked out a silver, Puerto Vallarta souvenir spoon.
We stopped off for ice cream in attempts to settle the beast.
He had other plans...watch out!
I guess Myles wanted two ice creams. Luke is missing from the pic because he was experiencing some GI distress. What's a true vacation in Mexico without some of that mixed in???
We made some funny and (some scary) memories this night. All and all, another good night, but I do think church and our laid-back afternoon was the highlight of this day.
