Luke continues to enjoy flag football. We love his coach and the other players' parents. We realize that we have a good thing going. They had a great season and it was fun to watch them play. They were in the championship game and were so close to beating the team who had consistently beat them during the regular season. Proud of how Luke played, and how he handled a loss that wasn't an easy one. I was also proud of myself for not being one of the crazy parents on the sidelines (nor was Bryan). :)
Luke was the team's main kicker. He was nicknamed "rocket leg" since he was 6 or 7-years-old when playing soccer and scored from a defensive position. I think it fits him nicely.
