 First snow: October 14th

A couple of days later, back to gymnastic leotards and jumping in leaf piles.

Boise: Day 4-6

The rest of our trip was packed with constant fun: caught a movie, popped into Greg and Tiff’s new book warehouse where the kids picked out some new books, visited Helen and Roger and they completely spoiled the kids (two different restaurants for lunch, dessert and constantly accommodating). It can feel a "little bit" crazy with kids at restaurants, but this time was exceptional. I don’t even remember how many drinks tipped over or the amount of food that dropped on the ground.  It was still wonderful to see Helen and Roger and I was relieved that they could laugh about the circus and roll with it. Myles was a little out of sorts some of the trip and was ready to go home-he is such a daddy’s boy that I wonder if he missed his dad even with all of the fun.

We were all starting to run on fumes.

Heading home.

It was a great visit with family.

Boise: Day 3

Grandpa took Luke shooting and out to lunch in the morning. Luke loved that time with just Grandpa. The rest of us played at a park and took a picnic to enjoy. Some of our lunch was shared with the ducks. It was a beautiful Fall day.

When Grandpa and Luke returned, it was time to mow the lawn. The kids thought Grandpa's lawn mower was the best, especially when they could lick their popsicles and enjoy the ride!

That evening, we met up with Greg, Tiff, Molly, Gracie and Logan at the pumpkin patch. There was a lot of activities: Jumping mat, pig races, target practice, barrel train ride, corn maze, hay ride, candy canon, and I'm sure I forgot something. The kids had a blast and I think we wore out Grandma and Grandpa!

(I loved the warning on this jump mat, "Must be physically fit." Right. Got it.)
