Day 4 brought a visit to Yaquina Head Lighthouse, tide pools and a rather chilly stay at the beach. I realize that these are Oregon beaches, but I don't think some of the kids knew that! I could not believe how long our nieces Molly and Gracie lasted in the ocean! Luke was able to hang with them most of the time, but Myles and Emma have more of my tolerance for cold water: slim to none.
In my mind he realized how blasted the cold water was.
In Myles memory he stepped on a really sharp rock.
