The alarms were set at 3:45 AM in order to catch our 6:20 AM flight to Oregon to meet up with Bryan's family at Silver Falls State Park. After some bad luck with a few delays we were in trouble and not looking like we were going to make our flight. Due to Bryan's quick thinking and hustle we were literally running for our gate and made it on as the last people to board. Thankfully, some nice passengers switched seats so I could sit by Myles and Bryan by Emma. Luke enjoyed his independence from his family. :)
We made a pitstop by the Portland temple and visitor's center. Each of us really enjoyed different aspects at the visitor's center. After the stop by the temple, we found a nearby chapel to attend Sacrament meeting.
