My parents came out for a visit right before all of the crazy COVID-19 business ramped up. They drove from Utah and brought with them our food storage (and my favorite bread for toast)! It was much appreciated. We loved the time with them and always wish it could last longer.

Fun things about Myles
Myles and I have been enjoying our time together this last year before he starts full-day Kindergarten. He's been loving/obsessed about the titanic. He also loves our trips to the library and park. We made Sam's food court a rather regular stop after Pre-K for a slice of pizza for lunch, but we also enjoyed "home lunch," too. I'm going to miss my sidekick next year.
BYU vs. DU Gymnastics Meet
I had no idea that this was at the hottest ticket in town. When I attempted to pick up tickets for Emma and me as well as other friends' and their daughters I had quite the awakening. Luckily, I knew on of the BYU gymnastic's coaches and she helped us out. It was a fun night with Emma and other girlfriends.
Free Hockey Day
I decided to take Luke down to a nearby ice skating rink and give hockey a try on "free hockey day." I had no idea that he was going to be wearing full gear and was grateful for another parent who lent a helping hand getting all of that (stinky) gear on Luke! They tossed Luke on the ice like he'd been skating all of his life. Luke found his balance and courage after some time. I was proud of him for trying it out and having a good attitude about it all.
Happy 5th Birthday Myles!
Myles requested a Pokemon birthday party. We invited all of his preschool friends over after school on his birthday. We also checked out Luke and Emma early from school. This was Myles' first friend party and he loved it. It was nice to feel like Myles appreciated my efforts. He really does have such a great and contagious smile. Happy Birthday to my favorite 5-year-old! He is athletic, a questioner, loves all things Pokemon and Bey Blade, and wants to keep up with whatever his older brother and sister are doing. We love Mister Myles and are so grateful he is in our family.
Our door says, "It's Pokemon Party Time!"

Come Follow Me
As part of home church, we continue with family home evenings. This night, we talked about Nephi building a boat and then we gave it our best shot with items that I laid out on the table.
