We invited Emma's friends over on a Saturday morning to celebrate her birthday. I kept the party to 1.5 hours and found myself wishing for more time. We really had a fun morning with lots of girls!! Luke and Myles rolled with the girliness (for the most part).

Rainbow Bingo and rainbow snacks. Quickly found out who the true OCD kids were: the ones that matched the color of the skittle to the pictures.

She requested hot dogs and smores for her birthday dinner. We busted out the propane fireplace and made those birthday wished come true. :)

Our Emma turned 5-years-old. I love this girl. She is sweet, but determined. She tolerates her youngest brother's antics with more patience than her mother at times. She loves to help out around the home (especially when it's her own idea), color/paint, play dolls and make up dance routines with her friends. She really is such a joy to have in our family. Forever grateful for this little girl. 

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Our library offers various passes to museums and exhibits in the Denver metro area. We took advantage of this awesome service and reserved passes to the Nature and Science museum. The kids were very excited about this day. We packed our lunches and headed off for our adventure. To be honest, I would give the kids a C+ or maybe a B- at the beginning. They were having a hard time listening, wanting to go 3 different directions all at the same time and then complaining when it wasn't there turn to choose the next exhibit. Oy vey.  However, after some food in everyone's stomachs, we were all in much better spirits.

Someone recently asked me to describe Myles' personality. I responded with one word, "goofy." He can crack me up. He was waiting in line for the wing-span picture and watched what his siblings spread their arms out like an airplane for the picture.  However, when it was his turn and the lights were on him, he busted out some pretty good dance moves. He had everyone in line laughing.
