Florida: Day 5

After three days in a row at the parks, we needed some downtime! Krista recommended Clearwater Beach. It boasted white, sugary sand and crystal-clear water. We scored perfect weather. We picked up lunch on our way to Clearwater and enjoyed the entire day lounging on the beach and playing in the water.

Mermaid Emma gathered quite the attention. She seemed to enjoy the extra attention.

I love this picture of Bryan, he's a wonderful Father to these lucky kids.

From boogie boarding to sand castle building to "snorkeling" it was the perfect beach day. Luke even "protected" innocent ladies from the menacing seagulls. He later informed us he did that because the girls were cute. Oh no! Isn't he too young for that?!?

The icing on the cake was when we came back to McCracken's home and she made her famous cookies. It was another great day as a family.

Florida: Day 4

We were thrilled that McCrackens could spend the day with us. We decided to try out Legoland. I was impressed with the park. It was very clean and they had something for every age. There were lots of laughs and great memories made this day. We love the McCracken family. They will always be close to our hearts.

Our husbands were very accommodating and kind. They let Krista and me ride with the babies in one van and the men took the other kids with them. We were able to visit the entire way to and from the park. We have good men.

Take One.

Take Two.
It was a BRIGHT, sunny day!

I think the Dads may have enjoyed this ride more than the boys.

I think Kyson might be second guessing his decision to go on this, but he was brave and did it!

Emma working on her "duck lips."

Myles discovered Doritos.

Chip Coma.

Oh, he is so sweet.

The mini Lego cities were impressive! I wish that we took more pictures!

Mid-afternoon ice cream break.

Cody teased the boys that the animals were coming to life. They took the bait. I love their facial expressions!

They had a Star Wars exhibit. Luke requested a picture with R2D2.

Luke refused a picture with Darth Vader. I think it was causing too much confusion..,"who is your real Father, Luke?"

These two...

A well-deserved bottle after another full day at the parks.

The after Lego-land party.
Luke picked a super hero set.

Emma picked a Cinderella set, complete with the horse drawn carriage.

One of the Lego sets proved to be a little more challenging than the other ones. Bryan joked that the age recommendation on the box was for  50+ year olds.
