On Emma's actual birthday, she and I went shopping and out for lunch. It was a fun afternoon. She used some of her birthday money to buy more accessories for her "American Doll" (target's brand, but I love that she doesn't know or care about the difference). Emma is such a joy in our family. She is kind, forgiving, easily pleased, always up for an adventure with her brothers-and can hold her own, gentle, driven and just a good girl. Love her.
