Puerto Vallarta: Day 5

We changed things up this day and visited the zoo in the morning.  The zoo was only a 15 minute walk from our hotel. This zoo was amazing in the fact that we could feed the animals. Crazy. You could also pay extra and play with the tiger cubs. The tiger "cubs" looked more on the verge of adulthood in the tiger world. No thank you. Siegfried and Roy kept playing through my mind, PASS.

We came back to our room to change into our swimsuits and found fun surprises made with the kids' blankets by the hotel staff. They loved it. I was grateful they were still being kind to us, given the amount of linens they brought to our room when Luke was sick. Bryan did leave them a good tip out of appreciation and part apology. 

We enjoyed dining at the restaurants everyday with views of the ocean. One lunch, Bryan's chair broke one day as he sat down with Myles. There wasn't time to catch himself or Myles and down they went. The staff was crazy quick responding to make sure everyone was okay. I couldn't answer their questions because I was laughing too hard. Super mature.

We rented the boys boogie boards and paid a lovely lady to braid the girls' hair in the afternoon. Kelly and Devin went for a couple's massage while we watched the kids. Our turn was the next day and they watched the kids.

Every night, the locals would take a lot of the boats up this river. One night, they were short handed and Devin provided a helping hand. It was quite entertaining watching them gun it for the shore and then cut their engine. One evening, a boat jumped over part of the beach and missed the river. It took a lot of muscles to get it into the river. It was entertaining as long as we knew what they were doing. The first time it caught us off guard--BIG time! :) "What the ...?!?" I believe may have escaped my mouth.
