Utah: Day 1-2

I drove out with the kids to Utah. It was a pretty smooth-sailing 9 hours in the car. There were a few "bumps" along the way, but nothing too severe. Bryan flew out the next morning and could only stay for a couple days due to work and church commitments.

DVD and wireless headphones--it was strange to have the car so quiet! I listened to several podcasts and General Conference talks.

We were getting a little antsy so we stopped at Little America for some delicious ice cream cones.

The next day was the 4th of July. We headed down to Rick's house and met up with Bryan and other family members. It is fun to have the parade go right by his house. Rick and Jasmine are very kind to host a BBQ afterwards. Our kids love running around with their cousins. It's always a good time. Myles and I were a little worn out from all of the fun that day and didn't even last until Fireworks, but we made up for it another night with some sparklers.
