Steamboat Springs

We ditched the kids with our good friends, the Marzos, and headed up to Steamboat Springs for a fun, relaxing getaway. I was coming off a whirlwind work trip, so we changed our previous plans of a quick backpacking trip. I was grateful for the change and Bryan was a good sport. :)
We fished, mountain biked, slept-in (well, I did. Bryan went out on the river early to fish).

Bryan surprised me with these ultra light chairs. I love tenkara rods and fishing the little creeks, but I also love the comfort of sitting at a lake/reservoir. He combined the best from both of my fishing worlds.
