The BC

We road tripped it out to Brigham City to spend time with the Luke and Emma's cousins there.

The highlight of the trip was attending my niece's baptism. It was such a special day for her and we're so glad we were able to be there!

One evening we decided to try out some ice blocking, it was a great time.

Turns out that ice blocking with an independent, sleep-deprived and hungry two-year-old doesn't jive too well. Crazy. He managed to get in a few fun runs.

Poor Peyton fractured his hip and is having to take it easy. No fun, especially in the summer!

One morning we went over to Logan and visited Willow Park. For just a few bucks, we thought it was a great place.

Luke trying to corner the peacock. I remember as a kid chasing those peacocks with my cousins until one peacock smartened up and started chasing us! T-R-A-U-M-A-T-I-Z-I-N-G. I'm still scared of those things.

On our way out of Logan, we stopped at our favorite ice cream spot, Charlie's. We also toured USU's campus and Bryan relived the good ol' days.

For family night we went up to the campground that is literally 10 minutes from my parents' home. I forget how nice that little campground is!

Went out to "the farm" and visited Great-Grandma Munns.

My Uncle Monte and Aunt Karen even pulled out the homemade snow cones, syrups and tractor rides. It is so beautiful out there.

My mom volunteered to watch our kids so Bryan and I could attend a session with my dad at the Brigham City Temple.

There was a lot of fun in Grandma's and Grandpa's backyard.

This was hilarious to watch, kids and adults. Luckily, no serious injuries that day.

The baby pool turned into the kiddie hot tub. My dad somehow rigged the water from the hot water heater into this pool.

My mom is a saint, I mean it. She is always playing with the kids or helping someone.

The road trip to and fro went really well. These kids have smiles on their faces, but it was their mother who was having a hard time driving away. I thought I was over those tears of living away from family. Nope. Do those feelings of homesickness ever go away???

Oh, sentimental. We had a blast and can't wait to visit again. Hopefully, the grandparents will be rested up by then! :)
