Silverthorne

We met up with Bryan's family in Silverthorne, Colorado for a reunion. It is a beautiful mountain town. We all stayed together in a cabin that made for a few fun nights of games while the little kids were sleeping. We had a great time visiting lakes, old mining establishments, "white-water" rafting, and even a rec center (a few days were pretty rainy), but this rec center was amazing. So great to see family and spend some time together!

Emma was quite happy with all of the attention that was being showered upon her.

Luke's fishing pole at the lake. Shockingly, no fish were biting that day.

Quick group shot at the lake. It was so pretty here, we wished that we could have stayed longer, but the clouds and rain rolled in.

Grandpa hiking back from the lake with Luke.

Row, row, row your boat...

Here are those crazy white water rapids. :)

It was a great float for the kids.

Cute Carter showing off some of the crafts that Grandma Carrie prepared for the kids to do.

Luke had a blast playing with his cousins.

When the boys couldn't be found in the cabin, most likely they were outside with their bows or guns...making sure the little boys were gaining an appreciation of the previously mentioned items.

Family Pic.
What do you do? Smiling, but not looking. Or...looking, but not smiling.

Well, at least here's one with both!

After a few trips down the big slide, Luke was doing it all on his own. Luke is such an independent boy.

He also appreciated this little slide.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
Sad day for Luke and us when we drove home. We love our family.
